Snake and Swallowtail Large Woven Blanket

This drawing is inspired by a scene I saw once hiking, which was equally gruesome and beautiful: a group of butterflies clustering on and feeding from the corpse of a small snake. This phenomenon can be seen across a variety of butterfly species, and the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterflies featured in this illustration are known to exhibit all manner of strange feeding habits.
